A fifth-generation resident, my roots and my career are in Santa Clara County. I’m a proud graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory, earned my Bachelors’ degree from Santa Clara University, and my Master of Arts in Political Science from San Francisco State University. I teach Economics and Political Science at the high school, community college and university level. My wife is also an educator and we’re the proud parents of a two-year old son.
As a three-term Santa Clara Councilmember, I’m part of a new generation of community leaders who seek to replace partisan politics with practical, pragmatic approaches to the challenges, successes and opportunities of Santa Clara County. I’ve addressed affordable housing issues, worked to ensure our residents’ public safety, empowered youth by providing safe recreation options, managed tax dollars by balancing budgets, kept energy rates among the lowest in the Bay Area, and addressed infrastructure needs. But there is more to do.
I hope to earn YOUR support for County Supervisor, District 4 on June 5th.
